Kurupt has released a statement on his former fiancee and baby's mother Natina Reed, who died this past weekend in a hit-and-run accident.
Speaking with MTV News, the West Coast emcee, who has a 10-year-old son with Reed named Tren, said that it's a difficult time for the family. "Myself and Tren, Natina's son, would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this tragic time," he said. "This is a tremendous loss to our family. Natina was a great person and I wish everyone had the opportunity to meet her and know her as I did."
Reed was a member of the popular '90s R&B group Blaque. She also appeared in the film Bring It On alongside Gabrielle Union and Kirsten Dunst.
