Well the NBA All-Stars were announced and as I say every year, they FUCKING SUCK.
Key Blue = They deserved it Red = They didn't deserve it Yellow = They should start Green = They shouldn't start No Color = Dont care
East Starters Rajon Rondo Dwyane Wade LeBron James Carmelo Anthony Kevin Garnett
East Bench Kyrie Irving Jrue Holiday Paul George Luol Deng Joakim Noah Chris Bosh Tyson Chandler
Can I say it enough times? Where the fuck is Josh Smith? The Bulls get two starters? Hawks none? Nets none? What is this shit?
West Starters Chris Paul Kobe Bryant Kevin Durant Blake Griffin Dwight Howard
West Bench Tony Parker Russell Westbrook James Harden Zach Randolph David Lee LaMarcus Aldridge Tim Duncan
Cousins should be here. If there must be a warrior what about Steph Curry, their best player. Would make some sense. Westbrook sucks.
This is not a knock on Paul George, he's one of my favorite players in the league. But Paul fucking George got in the All-Star game before Josh Smith. Josh has deserved to be an all-star before Paul was even if the league!

Josh Smith is too busy bitching about everything. He doesn't deserve anything this season. You seem to like only the headcases in the NBA who think their above everyone. Newflash DeMarcus Cousins is an absolute whiny bitch who needs to get traded to the Celtics so Doc Rivers can teach him displine...which he should have learned in college. Josh Smith doesn't have a reputation as a whiny bitch but he's kinda getting there.

I like players who are talented. If you don't think Josh Smith deserves to be an all-star, you must not watch the Hawks. Just a couple weeks ago you were posting in this thread about how NBA.com was listing Josh as a MVP canidate, and you seemed to think it was a good thing. You even said in this thread Josh Smith should be an all-star.
Why would I care about a player's reputation? First of all - Josh's reputation is that he doesn't listen, and doesn't want to improve his game. Both of those are false, as he's improved greatly over the last few years and taken more of a leadership role. If coaches and analysts still want to believe his 2004-2005 rookie reputation holds true almost a decade later, their ignorant. Plain and simple.
Other than guys who play PF/C like Kevin Love and Kevin Garnett, and other than Dwight Howard, DeMarcus Cousins is the best center in the league. Why would I care if he doesn't get a long with coaches? You know who else is described as immature is Dwight Howard. He caused his coach in Orlando to get fired, and then he still up and left the team. You know whose really immature? Kobe Bryant, LeBron James. Guys who bitch and complain to the refs every single time they don't get a call.
If Cousins shouldn't be an all-star because he has a reputation, neither should Kobe, LeBron, Wade, or Dwight Howard. Of course I stick up for guys like Josh and Cousins, because its bullshit that Cousins gets suspended 2 games for talking to an announcer. It's bullshit that the guy everyone agreed was the most snubbed player in the league last year, Josh Smith, not just with All-Stars, but All-NBA, and All-Defensive teams, as well as the US Olypmic team - still doesn't get on the All-Stars the next year, while some guy who isn't nearly as talented (Jrue Holiday) gets on the team because the NBA wants him to be a star, and because he doesn't have a reputation.
You know the reason these players have reputations? It's because the coaches like to gossip like little girls. Of course I support the players, they are the only reason anyone watches basketball.
Can't wait to read your tl;dr reponse.

I didn't once say Josh Smith wasn't talented. You're putting words into my mouth which is typical. Josh Smith is a top power forward (which isn't saying much) but he's also been crossing a line over the past few months. His attitude over this contract situation has been a cancer to the whole team. Hasn't he been suspended for a game this season for being a whiny bitch? I'm not denying his talent but Atlanta will not win a championship with Josh Smith and they're a smart organization who realize this. At this point he's not a "max player". He needs to be traded immediately. He's an example of someone who's a tremendous talent but not a proven winner.

I didn't say you said Josh wasn't talented. The only words I said you said are ones that can be seen in this thread.
He got suspended one game for arguing with his coach (who by the way is a really shitty coach). Josh Smith is definitely a max contract player, he's easily top 10 in the league. When did you see him whine? I haven't. All I see is him takng frustration from being passed over, and using it to make himself and his team better. Why do you think Atlanta is doing so well? They'll never win a championship with Josh as their only player, but they can certainly win one if they build around him and get a better coach.
How has his attitude over his contract been a cancer? Where are you hearing this stuff? Do you not remember Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, LeBron James? What they did to their former teams can definitely be described as cancerous. I've never heard Josh make any demands of the team, let alone his coach be fired, or that he be traded, and only traded to specific teams. I'm really curious what line he's crossing.

Playoffs are boring, just can't get into it for some reason. Houston had a chance to get back in the series with Westbrook out and a close game but they blew it. Bucks, Lakers, Celtics & Rockets could all get sweeped. Hoping the second round is more interesting. Atleast the Hawks are making a comeback in what's probably their last season together.

Well the 2nd round isn't any better. Maybe the Rockets can draft you this year, Aff. I'm sure you won't fall that far though. Would take them from an early playoff exit to the championship.
