Bio: Aoife was born on Inis Mór in the Aran Islands off the west coast of Ireland.She is the direct descandent of Queen Meabhe of Connacht on her fathers side which goes back 9 generations and she is very proud of this.She has 2 older brothers, one is a mechanic, the other a physist.She has a younger sister who is a professional sky diver.
Aoife was always interested in wrestling from an early age and her idol was Hulk Hogan.With the body of a gymnast she was already on her way of making her dream of becoming a professional wrestler a reality.She joined the local wrestling club in An Cheathrú Rua and she was the only female member.She trained with the smaller guys and quickly developed her in-ring skills.
During a low key match in Vienna, she caught the attention of promoters.She went onto sign for EWA and she holds the record for winning the women's title on her debut match on April 8th 2006 against Emilia.She had a 27 match winning streak before the title was snatched off of her by Sammy Stud. She left EWA in early 2008 and joined the WXW.
She has been involved in a fancy dress match as a lingerie model and won although she is totally embarrassed by this now and feels ashamed to have even participated in such a pointless match. Emerald does not like the way divas are seen as eye candy and wants to be taken seriously. She had a successful tag match with Melina and Beth Phoenix against Michelle Mc Cool, Jillian and Eve Torres.
Emerald wrestled in XWA for 3 years. She was a crowd favourite and was seen as "The Girl Next Door" and "Ireland's Pride and Joy". She repeatedly failed to capture the Divas Championship from Beth Jericho who was her biggest arch rival during her career at XWA. Emerald despises Beth Jericho with every core of her being. Emerald should have been the Divas Champion but Beth’s constant cheating thwarted that effort.
Emeralds feud with Beth will never be over, Emerald is not that forgiving.
Emerald doesn’t know what the future holds for her. But she’s always hopeful that things could change and one day she can stand proud with gold around her waist. She took a career break from wrestling to pursue other ambitions. Aoife as she's now known as works as a translator for the EU and uses her linguistic skills for the EU parliament. She is happy to have left the fame behind but has a deep rooted longing to be Divas Champ someday, at the back of her mind. After all, it was her childhood dream.
