“Some Bodies Gonna Get It” by Three 6 Mafia plays out through PA and Mark Henry along with Josh Matthews make their way out to the ring coming out to an unusual mixed reaction. There are people that have grown to like Mark and people who are unsure on whether they’re meant to like him or not. It doesn’t matter as Mark looks happy and confident.
Lillian Garcia – “Please welcome the “World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry and Josh Matthews!”
Josh enters the ring first and he begins to do a funky dance, nobody really knows why, but who cares – It’s Josh! Mark walks around to Lillian and he asks her for a microphone, so she hands him the one that she is holding. Mark then walks up the side steps, enters the ring and he begins to speak.
Mark Henry - “Tonight I face John Cena. Normally I might come on out here, say some bad things about my opponent and talk about how bad I’m going to beat them, but it’s very hard to do that with John Cena. He’s a nice guy! He’s a tough cat, he has good morals, he loves the fans - What is there not to like? The kids look up to him and they want to be just like him. They want to be wannabe gangsters, too!”
Jim Ross – “Well..”
Mark Henry – “It’s really good to see. The whole Chain Gang thing is real nice. You want to unite and link everybody together, but instead of being slaves, you want to create a body of love and friendship to overcome everything. I’m a violent man, but that sort of thing gets inside me and it makes me feel good in a way. Punching heads makes me feel good normally, but this thing about people working together… I like it.”
Jim Ross - “What happened to Mark Henry?”
Jerry Lawler – “He must have woke up on the wrong side of the bed.”
Mark Henry – “To me that is what the Nation is about. It’s about working together!”
Josh Matthews nods in approval. Ezekiel's music plays out through the PA system and Ezekiel walks out from backstage with a microphone in his hand. He doesn’t look pleased and he wastes little time before he starts to speak.
Ezekiel – “Get rid of that music. Mark, I have heard enough! The Nation Of Domination is not about friendship. Maybe it’s about the friendship between you and myself, but I don’t know if that exists anymore.”
Mark Henry – “Hold up man!”
Ezekiel – “No, you hold up! What happened to domination? What happened? For weeks you were talking about how we were going to dominate and you have been doing nothing, but that! What you do in the ring, I don’t have a problem with, but you have lost your head man!”
Mark Henry – “This is Pro-Wrestling, brother. What I do in the ring is the only thing that matters here.”
Ezekiel – “That hurts, man. What happened to being G’s for life?”
Mark Henry – “Nothing has happened. We’re still friends.”
Ezekiel - “Nah, I don’t think so.”
Mark Henry – “What do you mean you don’t think so?”
Ezekiel – “You’re lost. I can’t be seen with you no more.”
Mark Henry – “I’m sick of that gangster crap. I don’t care no more! I’m sick of running. I’m the World’s Strongest Man, I don’t got to do that!”
Ezekiel – “Running? What are you talking about? Running from the law? Have you been listening to Akon again?”
Mark Henry – “I don’t mean running from the law, I mean running from real life, running from reality.”
Ezekiel – “So are you saying I’m running from reality?”
Mark remains silent.
Ezekiel – “Answer me. Is that what you think?”
Mark still says nothing.
Ezekiel – I’m coming down there.”
Ezekiel walks down to the ring at a fast pace, looking at Mark in disgust. He ascends the side steps very quick at enters the ring. He stands in front of Mark just starting into his face and Mark stares straight back. The crowds are on the edge of their seats, waiting for an explosion.
Ezekiel – “Do you think you’re above me? Of course you do. You are above me, you’re above everybody in the WWE. You know it, I know it, people are starting to. You’re the man, right?”
Mark is speechless.
Ezekiel – “You’re not going to talk? Cause you’re above this. You’re better? What happened to the body of love? Where is my love? You don’t love me? If you don’t love me, hit me then. Go on, knock me out. Why don’t you just knock me the hell out? Come on big man.”
Ezekiel gives Mark a hard shove that would send most to the floor, but Mark only takes a couple of steps back.
Ezekiel – “Knock me out! Break my jaw! I dare you. No, I double dare you. No, no, no! I got it! I triple DAWG dare you! Knock me out, break my jaw. Come on, do it.”
Ezekiel slaps Henry. Henry doesn’t react.
Ezekiel – “You want me to slap you harder? Okay.”
Ezekiel slaps Mark even harder and Mark definitely feels it.
Ezekiel – “I’m impressed, Mark. You are showing how great you really are. I don’t really know what to do now. I’m stunned man, you didn’t have to hit me and you have stunned me with your greatness.”
Ezekiel looks to his right and he throws a big haymaker punch that hits Mark right in the jaw. Mark feels the punch, but it doesn’t hurt him. He is just overwhelmed by the way that Ezekiel is acting. He wants to see how far Ezekiel will go with it before he needs to do something.
Ezekiel – “You’re still not going to talk? What do I have to do? What do I have to do to make you talk? I think I’ve got an idea.”
Ezekiel lands a jab that catches Josh in the nose dropping Josh to the floor. A little bit of blood comes out of Josh’s nose. Josh looks to Mark to stand up for him, but Mark feels that Josh is a man and that he can take a punch to the nose. At first Josh is unsure, but then he realizes that Mark wants him to stand back up. Josh doesn’t need to stay down and let Mark fight for him. So Josh bravely gets back to his feet.
Jerry Lawler – “It would have been wiser to stay down, I think.”
Jim Ross – “I don’t really understand what is going on here, but I am impressed by Josh Matthews bravery. “
Ezekiel – “That’s cute. They call that tough love. I do wonder though, how many punches can Josh take. Step aside Mark, I want to try it out.”
Mark hesitates for a second, but he takes a few steps back and watches. Josh begins to feel nervous, but he knows that Mark must believe in him if he’s going to let Ezekiel land punches on him.
Ezekiel – “Thank you for your co-operation, Mark. Now Josh, you are allowed to fight back if you like, but if you do that, you’re probably just going to piss me off, so I will just hit you harder. So it might be a better idea not to fight back.”
Josh looks over to Mark as he is unsure of what to do, but not long after Ezekiel throws a left hook that hits Josh on his right cheek bone which floors him.
Jim Ross – “Oh, come on. I realize that Mark wants Josh to be able to stand up for himself, but this is just too much.”
Ezekiel – “Have you had enough? If you think you can take more, I want you to stand up.”
Josh staggers back to his feet. Mark smiles after seeing Josh get back to his feet and the crowd start to get behind Josh. Josh is happy to hear the crowd cheer for him.
Ezekiel – “Good. Let’s see how you deal with this.”
Ezekiel hits Josh in the body with a right hand and Josh falls to the crowd. The crowd boos and obviously don’t like what Ezekiel is doing to Josh.
Jim Ross – “I’m starting to feel a bit sick.”
Jerry Lawler – “Yeah.”
Mark Henry – “Get up, Josh.”
Ezekiel – “Oh, he’s talking!”
Josh slowly gets back to his feet and the crowd cheers once again. They begin to chant “Josh!” “Josh!” “Josh!” This annoys Ezekiel, so as Josh is getting up to his feet, Ezekiel hits Josh with a flying knee that drops him to the mat again. Ezekiel starts to really hurt Josh with vicious ground punches. Mark finally steps in and he gets a grip on Ezekiel’s shoulder and Ezekiel stand up to fight Mark. Ezekiel throws a big right hand, but Mark parries and lands a right of his own sending Ezekiel flying into the ropes. Ezekiel charges at back at Mark and he looks for a takedown; Mark sprawls and flips Ezekiel on to his back. Ezekiel gets up to his feet and lands a jab to Mark’s face, Mark responds with a HUGE right hand that turns Ezekiel’s legs into spaghetti. Mark lifts Ezekiel up and delivers the World’s Strongest Slam and the crowd cheers for it! Mark walks over to Josh and he helps him get back to his feet.
Jim Ross – “I think Mark Henry might be a good human being after all.”
Jerry Lawler – “I actually am impressed.”
Jim Ross – “The fans seem to be impressed to.”
“Some Bodies Gonna Get It” begins to play; Mark smiles and nods in approval. He helps Josh leave the ring and both of them slowly walk to the back. Fans reach out over the barriers to Mark and he actually slaps one of their hands; that’s a start! He looks back at Ezekiel who is still floored in the ring and he continues to walk backstage with Josh. Raw goes to a commercial break.
Lillian Garcia – “Please welcome the “World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry and Josh Matthews!”
