Xzibit has been ferocious always and 50 has some seriously good hits, but when it comes to who the man is, I can't work it out. Meth is good, Ice Cube can be really good (even though I'm a Cypress fan and not really an Ice Cube fan) and you gotta like Ghostface Killah!

All of the rappers you mentioned are great and some of my top then favourites. However, I'd say the best rapper of all-time is Tupac Shakur. He has such diversity, producing awesome party tracks (California Love), deep songs (Changes, Dear Mama) and some G shit (2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted). It's a predictable answer but 'Pac has so many top quality songs, more than anybody I think. The album All Eyez On Me is the best ever in my opinion.

My knowledge doesn't go very far beyond the early to mid-90's stuff. My favorites were either Guru from Gang Starr or Jeru the Damaja. The jazzy samples were always great, and if you haven't heard it yet, I'd recommend getting Gang Starr's Daily Operation.

Aussie rap is more like Gang Starr's and a lot like Jeru's rap. It's amazing.

Rap might not be your thing, but if somebody is a legend, you can appreciate them or at least give credit where credits due. Do you think you can say one name?
