Pokemon Black/White Box Art Legends img19.imageshack.us/img19/6422/1275064971604.jpgZekrom may be my new favorite pokemon. It has rom in its name, and it looks like a robot. YERH. I've officially named it Chari zord. I wanted to get Pokemon Black cause the name is awesome, but um, Charizord is too badass to pass.

Those movements are kind of off-putting.

I don't like his movepool though. I have three fighting moves and dig. The fighting moves essentially doing the same thing, and with Graveler, dig becomes pointless. Was originally going to be a fighting team but I cant get Primeh yet, and don't have any of the Hitmon's or Poliwrath so I said why bother and just got Cleffeh. Might teach Clefable Brick Break and then they'll atleast have fighting moves.

I think they're trying too hard when they thought of most of the 5th gen (and 3rd gen) Pokemon. But it's not like I WON'T buy Black/White when they come out.
Also, based on footage that I've seen, it looks like they're trying to become more of a serious RPG. That's fine, but I think what made the Pokemon games so fun is the simplicity of it all. I can understand wanting change, though. Playing the same games would get old. I just wish they could be a bit more simplistic with executing their ideas. (and I like the new additions presented, btw).
But I wish they could stop doing the 8 gyms/e4/team x formula now. It's getting stale.

Chris, if you played Diamond/Pearl (Which you did, we traded several times) you should know they already tried and became a serious rpg in that game. The idea is nice, but it sucks because everyone uses the same pokemon, and everyone takes it serious. I just want fun battles. I'm not sure if I'll buy this game yet though.
I actually like the style of the 5th and 3rd gen. I thought the 4th gen was underwhelming for the most part, especially in design but also in type.
The formula is definitely stale. It might be slightly altered this time though because the human characters are supposedly a few years older than previous characters (so probably like 13, lol) and so maybe it'll be slightly darker.

I heard the mains for 5th gen were supposed to be 16, actually. Just a rumor, though.
I actually liked 4th gen. Platinum was really fun for a while. Emerald was, too. Just wish there were better grinding spots after the battle frontier (emerald). HG/SS are good, too. I agree, btw, with 4th gen becoming more serious.
From reading new info about these games, I suddenly became more interested. It looks like they may actually drop the team X thing in favor of having a main rival antagonist, followed by 2 secondary protagonists. The dream thing is a wacky, but still kinda interesting concept, plus one can have a chance at getting a new monster with it.
One of the best features is how the cities will look on the respective versions. Black will have a futuristic look while White will have a primitive look on it. What D/P lacked in contrasting features, B/W is going to make up for it. So now my interest has gone up again.

I just looked up a picture for the cities on the Black version, that is pretty freaking cool, no lie. That alone grabs my attention.

That is all awesome information, hoping they continue to make White different from Black as well. I'd prefer if White was futuristic though, as that's the one I want with Zekrom on the cover the "Gundam Pokemon" as I call it, and primitive is sorta boring. Also, that War Eagle is gangsta.

I like how the new region was rumored to be based on a region in America, yet the location is based on Shanghai China, not New York, as everyone was speculating.

Well, they revealed a team, chris. Team Plasma I believe. Same old format after all, it seems. Doesn't change that I still want it though.

I'd like a more action based Pokemon game, where you're in control of the Pokemon. So, a fighting game or beat 'em up.
