This sort of thing does happen. She didn't make any effort to contact you and that probably had you feeling like there wasn't a lot of use in waiting for her to not say anything. If you could have been something, you still could be something. Nothing is final yet.

I know. She was/is willing to give me a year. I mean I did break up with my girlfriend for her... I hope she realizes how much I like her. I have a date with her next month once she moves closer to me. I haven't seen her in a little over a year and I'm already REALLY nervous for the date.

I didn't fully break up with her because of the other girl (just mostly). We were moving WAY too fast also.
