I'm really excited about being one of the Ultimate Fighter coaches. I look forward to seeing what I can do for these kids and watching them grow, both as fighters and as people.
This competition is not about me or Danny. We will fight at the end of the series, but right now it's about the kids. I want to see them succeed. I want to help them further develop their skills. I also hope to see some good fights along the way.

As much as I'm ready to get back in the octagon, I'm slightly dissapointed that I still don't have a title shot even after knocking out Dora with a flying knee some years ago. Bodawg may be one of my better friends in MMA, but your not supposed to have friends in MMA, and that's how it's gonna be over the next however long this show lasts. This is a great opportunity for these kids. When I was getting into the sport, you had to always be traveling, looking for a solid job, even after I started gaining fans on the internet, nobody would hire me because I was too much of a buisness risk, and that's why it's important for these guys, coming through The Dawg House Presents The Ultimate Fighter, I can not only train them to be a better individual fighter, but team player and someone who can be marketable and not a noob.
As much as I think it'd be awesome if MMA had run-ins and tag team matches like the WWE, we're restricted to the one on one format for "safety" reasons and for some reason the sport (coughUFCcough) is trying to promote a "we're real, we're daham real" Kurt Angle like message, and trying to compete with WWE, when it's like, they should get sued for that message! ...And here at The Dawg House, we're not dumbasses like Dana White! Will this show be alot like UFC's similarily title show, yes, but my point is there will probably be some atleast minor differences, um...I have no clue what's gonna happen because I was sippin' on some sizzurp wearing my trademark "Grimace Still Rules" t-shirt with "R.McDonald is NXT" text on the back, like, talking to management and they just called me like, your fighting Bodawg, your gonna be on a show, and I was like just give me the money, let's talk paper.
...I've just been informed NXT is new WWE programming, you know that is not what the shirt meant~! |
