I've not watched a complete episode of Smackdown or Raw it a while and am behind in the times, so, I'm wondering how out of date is SvR 2010?

I couldn't really say as I've yet to play 2010, and therefor probably won't but I don't know. I believe it has people like Evan Bourne, I know it has R-Truth, Kozlov and Zeke. All I can think that are on TV alot these days that was missing other than the NXT guys is Drew McIntyre, but he wasn't around at the time. Are you thinking of getting it? They should be showing off Smackdown vs Raw 11 this month at E3.

Sounds right, usually the roster cut-off is around Wrestlemania.

I've given it another go and have spent more time playing it. I'm actually impressed and think that it could be the best Smackdown vs. Raw game.
I just had an at least 15 minute Fatal 4-Way TLC match. I played as Orton vs. Cena vs. Batista vs. Christian and I ended up winning, but it wasn't me dominating, they really beat me down. At one point I nearly had the briefcase and Christian ran up the other ladder, which was leaned against the one that I was ascending and knocked me off~! It was good because you would have thought that I had the briefcase and it wasn't expected.
The roster is outdated, but not terribly and being able to change the shows the wrestlers are on is a good thing.

I have the game for PS2. I still play it from time to time, mostly the 30 man Royal Rumble. Fun stuff.

I like the way the Royal Rumble works now better. Yeah it really is better. I was playing as Rey Rey, and made it to the final three people. The others being Swagger and HBK. I was trying to eliminate Swagger and didn't know about the three finisher thing, when you have three of them stored you could eliminate two people at the same time...well HBK had that and he eliminated both of us to win...it was funny though. |

Yes, I was eliminated that way a couple of days ago. I started at number 1 and eliminated heaps of guys and then when I thought I was eliminating another, I get thrown over!

I'd like to play it but I'm fine playing 09 myself. I like the out-dated roster better. Don't know if I'll get SvR 11 or not yet. It'd be weird going two years without Smackdown, but I don't really need it though creating storylines seems fun.
